2020 Census Partner Spotlight
On June 1, the San Antonio/Bexar County CCC purchased advertising space on the back of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree stores’ receipts to promote the 2020 Census targeting hard-to-count communities in the area. The CCC invested $25,000 for the 12- week campaign in every of store throughout Bexar County.



Response Rate Fun Facts (June 8)
• Utah had the second highest cumulative Internet self-response rate at 59.4 percent, behind Minnesota and ahead of Washington
• Utah had the second highest cumulative total self-response rate at 64.3 percent, behind Washington and ahead of Oregon
• Gove County, KS had the highest daily total self-response rate at 1.9 percent
• Los Alamos County, NM had the highest cumulative Internet self-response rate at 74.6 percent
• Los Alamos County, NM was the top West County with 79.8 percent

Census Bureau to Resume 2020

Census Field Operations in Additional Locations
On June 9, the U.S. Census Bureau, in coordination with federal, state and local health officials, announced the restart of 2020 Census field operations in additional area census offices (ACOs) across the nation. With these additions, field activities have restarted at all 248 ACOs stateside, all ACOs in Puerto Rico and the Island Areas, and 100 percent of the nation’s update leave workload will have resumed. As of June 8, 83.5 percent of update leave was completed.
Census Bureau officials coordinated closely with the Navajo Nation and determined that it is safe to resume operations in the Window Rock, AZ ACO on June 11.
