What an amazing book club meeting this evening! A huge thank you to Courtney Turcotte Bond for visiting us and discussing your beautiful novel, Breathtaking. Thank you to Cheyenne DuBree for making this happen. We all learned so much about cystic fibrosis and the ongoing research that is necessary to fight this disease!
Libraries are so much more than books- they are places to gather and learn from one another and grow compassion, empathy and support in your community. #ILoveMyKansasLibrary

In light of Thanksgiving next week, AfterZone USD #386 and our storytime kids talked about what they were thankful for. Everyone colored a picture and then wrote it down on a leaf to add to our beautiful tree of gratitude!
We had so much fun this morning celebrating Kansas Reads to Preschoolers month! Our special guest, Denise Dorcey from Parents as Teachers read How Do You Pet a Porcupine? By Laurie Isop. The kids had a great time at all the stations.
